Spring is here and it's time to spiff up your interior. Even though most people are more likely to roll down their windows to let in a little fresh air and cool off, you still want your interior to smell nice and nothing does that like giving your car's interior the once over.
You keep your car looking sharp on the outside, it's time to rev up the interior. And you don't need much in the way of products or time to do it. First of all, vacuum the interior and get all the dirt you can out. This includes the corners and other small areas where dirt and debris can collect. Next, use a good spot cleaner on the areas where spills or other things have happened. Once your spots and spills have been treated, all you need to do is use a good foamy cleaner. Foam is terrific for cleaning a car's interior because the dirt that is ground into the fibers is actually lifted to the surface where it can be vacuumed off once the foam is dry.
And that's it, at this point your carpet and seats should be clean. If your dash is looking dingy, give it a wipe down with a product that will replenish the vinyl instead of dry it out. Avoid products with ammonia as an active cleaning ingredient for this reason.
Last but not least, finish up your car with a spritz of a good smell you enjoy the scent of and enjoy your "new" clean interior.
