Make Keeping Your Car Detailed Part of Your New Year's Resolution Part I

Unfortunately people do judge a book by its cover and they will make opinions of you based on how your car looks. Whether you have a 2007 Jeep Wrangler or a classic Mustang or a 1995 Bronco - you can make them all look top notch with just some simple detailing. Detailing isn't difficult, especially when you use top shelf products. Remember, you get the results you pay for in detailing and going for the wax and shine product from Walmart won't get you the shiny showroom results that you want.

Start off by cleaning your car. Using a concentrated product like Lane's Wash & Shine will get your detailing off to a good start. It is completely self drying and won't leave streaks on your car's exterior. Use a soft wash mit to clean your car and never use anything abrasive to clean the gunk and grime off your car. A little elbow grease combined with concentrated soap power will give you some outstanding results. After washing and a thorough rinsing, either rub dry with clean, microfiber towels or let air dry.

Now it's time to address any minor issues your finish might have. If swirl marks are detracting from your car's good looks, invest in a bottle of Super Cut. This will minimize even the toughest swirl marks on your car's finish.

Last but not least, it's waxing time. Wax not only gives your car's finish a lustrous shine, it also protects your car's exterior from the elements. Lane's Gold Edition is one of the best waxes to use for your car as it doesn't matter what type of finish your car has (clear coat etc..); you just apply the wax and then remove it. You can take your exterior detailing one step further and apply Super Seal Paint Sealant to keep your car looking sharp between detailings.

And that's it. Just follow those few simple steps as needed and you can keep your car looking great for years to come!
