They will also have the power to give you a professional finish. The products you buy are considered tools of your business and in most cases will be a tax write-off.
Market yourself. No business can live without sales. You can have all the talent in the world but unless the world knows about it, you won't make a dime. You can market yourself cheaply by using flyers, putting advertisements at busy intersections as someone sitting and waiting for a red light to change might see your advertisement and think to themselves they could use your services. Another way to market is to drop off flyers to several businesses within a building. Many professionals don't have time to get their cars detailed and would love a service that came to them.
Professionals that use detailing the most include real estate agents, sales representatives and other professionals that spend a lot of time meeting and greeting clients in their cars.
Don't offer services that you don't know backwards and forwards. If your skill isn't up to par using an orbital polisher, don't offer it until it is or you run the risk of damaging someone's car and putting yourself out of business. You may not start off doing scratch removal however you can offer full detailing for exteriors and interiors and make a good living at it too!
